Private Training
Yoga Asana - Training to start developing a daily yoga self-practice 1-1 led classes, or tailored courses. Individually designed for each students needs, based around the Ashtanga method or the techniques and practices of Hatha yoga , Private students can create a personal practice, working posture by posture or they can work through individual ‘led’ class format similar to studio classes.
Students will learn the fundamentals of yoga asana, breathing techniques and the concepts of vinyasa and dristi. Preparing for Meditation and postures and practices for health and longevity.
Classes can be in person or online, one-off or as a package.
Pranayama / Breathwork
Structured course in breath awareness, resonance breathing and pranayama techniques. Reduce stress while expanding knowledge of the subtle aspects of yoga. Includes practice of visualisation, philosophy and meditation for better health.
Asana practice fundementals

Vinyasa
Nyasa meaning 'to place', and Vi meaning 'in a special or sacred way'. Correct vinyasa refers to a specific breath: an inhalation or exhalation, combined with a specific movement.

Bandha
Meaning ‘bond’ , ‘close off’ or ‘to catch hold of’. Body or energy locks that are subtely engaged during practice. These are Mula Bandha, Uddiyana Bandha, Jalandhara Bandha.

Drishti
Gaze point or focused gaze. Drishti refers to the focal point for the gaze while holding a posture. E.g. Nasarai Drishti is focusing on tip of the nose, or Hastagrai drishti focusing on the hands. Drishti helps with concentration.
